My name is Matthieu Jaunatre.

I am a middle manager since 2005.

A few major transitions, many highs, and lots of downs have shaped the person and the middle manager I am today.

I am grateful for my diverse and plentiful middle management career. I worked and lived in different countries across Europe, transitioned between industry sectors, and experienced contrasting work cultures.

But being a middle manager is not always easy. Over the years, I came to realize that it has been consistently easier to navigate through tortuous episodes when I could share my doubts and challenges with individuals who went through similar pathways.

Their experience brought new perspectives and the realization that, even if some situations seem inextricable, there is always a way out.

Through their generosity in engaging, listening and sharing their stories, I learned to grow from my setbacks, find new sources of inspiration, and eventually rediscover my purpose.

Time to give back

I created The Middle Management Anonymous to give back for the discussions, the encouragements, but also the reality checks and all the support I received along my middle manager journey.

I want The Middle Management Anonymous to be the place where it feels safe to hang around, where candor and encouragement prevail over judgement, where ideas are developed and solutions co-created for the benefit of our community.

The Middle Management Anonymous is the beginning of another exciting journey. I hope you will be part of it. I will do my best to make it a fulfilling one.
